The NarcoCheck® IDetect® NIC is a test for detecting nicotine in solids and liquids, as well as invisible particles on surfaces and objects.

Also known as the nicotine presence test or nicotine contamination test, this detection kit can be used anywhere, easily and in just a few minutes.
This test can be used to analyze e-liquids/vape liquids.
Simply pour 2 drops into the vial provided in the kit. This vial contains an extraction liquid that will dilute and homogenize the sample. It is equipped with a dropper cap that allows you to transfer the sample into the test.
This test cannot determine the proportion of nicotine in the analyzed sample.
Based on an immunological reaction, it detects the tiniest traces of nicotine.
It will therefore yield a positive result for both a sample consisting entirely of nicotine and a sample partially composed of nicotine (e.g., cut or contaminated with nicotine).

This test is a professional device used to help identify presumptive drugs or narcotics in the form of powders (fine or agglomerated), crystals, tablets, or some specific plants. It is not designed to test "anything and everything" (food, beverages, biological materials etc.), and particularly everyday products (household, gardening, cosmetics etc.) which contain various chemical compounds that can trigger unexpected reactions, and thus cause false or erroneous results.
Like any rapid test, this test delivers a purely indicative result. To know or confirm with certainty the composition of the sample, it is necessary to analyze it with a reference analytical method such as GC/MS or HPLC-MS/MS. The use of this test must therefore be done with full knowledge of the fact that no rapid screening test can be 100% reliable.
