The NarcoCheck® IDetect® LEVA is a test for detecting Levamisole in solids (including powders) and liquids, as well as residues on surfaces and objects.
It can thus be used in different ways:
To detect the presence of levamisole in powders, tablets, liquids, etc. Simply collect a few milligrams of the substance to be tested. The test then clearly indicates whether the sample contains levamisole, with a positive or negative result.
Also called levamisole presence test or levamisole contamination test, this detection kit can be used anywhere, simply and within minutes.
This test can be used to determine whether levamisole has been used as a cutting agent in a cocain sample (or other drugs). Levamisole remains the primary adulterant in cocaine today.
This test cannot determine the proportion of levamisole in the analyzed sample.
Based on an immunological reaction, it detects the tiniest traces of levamisole.
It will therefore yield a positive result for a sample that is entirely or partially composed of levamisole (or contaminated/cut with levamisole).

This test is a professional device used to help identify presumptive drugs or narcotics in the form of powders (fine or agglomerated), crystals, tablets, or some specific plants. It is not designed to test "anything and everything" (food, beverages, biological materials etc.), and particularly everyday products (household, gardening, cosmetics etc.) which contain various chemical compounds that can trigger unexpected reactions, and thus cause false or erroneous results.
Like any rapid test, this test delivers a purely indicative result. To know or confirm with certainty the composition of the sample, it is necessary to analyze it with a reference analytical method such as GC/MS or HPLC-MS/MS. The use of this test must therefore be done with full knowledge of the fact that no rapid screening test can be 100% reliable.
