Identifies cocaine and crack (but also Subutex) on powders and stones. Place a few milligrams of the substance to be identified in the ampoule, if the liquid contained inside turns blue, it is cocaine / crack. Results in few seconds.
The NarcoCheck® ID-Test® Cocaine & Crack is used for the identification of cocaine and its most known derivative, crack. These two drugs may be in the form of white powders or pebbles of a yellowish appearance.
Also called the Scott test, this test relies on a wet chemical reaction.
Introduce into the test a small quantity (a few milligrams) of the substance to be identified and the granules contained in the ampoule change color. Then compare it with the colorimetric chart included in the operating instructions.
Before running the test, the ampoule contains a liquid of pinkish appearance.
After running the test:
If the ampoule turns to BLUE / LIGHT BLUE, it is cocaine or crack.
If the ampoule does not change color, or if it takes a different color from blue, then the sample tested does not contain cocaine or crack.
The test is provided with a color chart to identify exactly the color showing the presence of cocaine in the sample being tested
Note : the NarcoCheck® ID-Test® Cocaine & Crack gives no indication as to the purity level of the substance or the possible cutting and adulterant products.
