To identify certain medicines sold on prescription, but frequently diverted from the medical circuit (oxycodone, methylphenidate, methaqualone, pethidine) on powders and tablets. A few milligrams are enough.
The NarcoCheck® ID-Test® Prescription Drugs is used for the identification of addictive prescription drugs whose use is often diverted for recreational purposes, such as oxycodone (OxyContin®), methylphenidate (Ritaline®), methaqualone (Mandrax®) and pethidine (Demerol®).
Very simple to use, this test is based on a wet chemical reaction.
Simply add a small amount of the substance to be identified, and the granules in the ampoule will change color. Then compare the color of the ampoule with the colorimetric chart included in the instructions.
Before running the test, the ampoule is completely transparent..
Apres le test :
If the ampoule turns to YELLOW/BEIGE, the substance is methaqualone (Mandrax®).
If the ampoule turns to BRIGHT ORANGE, the substance is methylphenidate (Ritaline®).
If the ampoule turns to PURPLE, the substance is oxycodone (OxyContin®).
If the ampoule turns to RED, the substance is pethidine (Demerol®).
If the ampoule does not change color or if it takes another color, the test sample does not contain any of these substances.
