The NarcoCheck® ID-Test® GBL is used for the identification of Gamma-Butyrolactone (GBL) in liquid form.

Very simple to use, this test is based on a wet chemical reaction.

Simply add a small amount of the substance to be identified, and the granules in the ampoule will change color. Then compare the color of the ampoule with the colorimetric chart included in the instructions.

 

Before running the test, the ampoule is pinkish in appearance.

After running the test:

  • If the ampoule turns to BLUE, it is indeed GBL.
  • If the ampoule does not change color or if it takes another color, the sample being tested does not contain any GBL.

 

The test is provided with a color chart to identify exactly the color showing the presence of GBL.
