The NarcoCheck® PGB rapid test strip is an immunoassay for fast the detection of pregabalin (Lyrica) use in human urine.
Pregabalin is the active substance of Lyrica, a drug used to treat neuropathic pain, epilepsy or generalized anxiety disorders.
After treatment with pregabalin, withdrawal symptoms can be observed, which is why it is necessary to gradually reduce the doses at the end of treatment, but also to check with this urine test that the person has well ceased all consumption.
Pregabalin can also be used as a "recreational" drug because it causes effects close to drunkenness, or even hallucinations.
The consumption of Lyrica can be detected using this pregabalin test for a period of 3 to 5 days (depending on the doses consumed) after the last intake.
