The NarcoCheck® OXY rapid test strip is an immunoassay for fast the detection of oxycodone use in human urine.
Oxycodone is used to relieve intense pain or or pains that are resistant to other analgesics. It is widely sold under the brand names Oxycontin® and Percocet®.
It is estimated that oxycodone is twice as strong as morphine. Oxycodone is derived from thebaine, which is an alkaloid of opium.
Oxycodone may even lead to more severe addictions than products such as codeine.
There are dependencies on oxycodone, either by a medicinal intake that some people may lose control, or by a misuse and abusive use to cause euphoria, such as with heroin.
This urine strip allows the detection or control of oxycodone use.
